Following the success of Pop-up Japan, this summer Proud East is launching Pop-up India, a celebration of India through a series of carefully curated series of events, workshops, art, live music, DJs and wonderful food designed to delight and entertain visitors at our canal-side venue. Launching on July 6th, pop-up India will run to September 24th.

Pop up India will be bringing the real taste of India to Haggerston. We will be joining forces with one of the most exciting Indian kitchens in London, to be revealed in the coming weeks, whose innovative chefs will be on hand to create bold, fresh and healthy dishes. On lazy mornings you will even be able to pop-by Proud East for brunch with an Eastern twist. Featuring traditional flavours and ingredients, the menu will be an ideal match for the summer months.

Proud East is also delighted to be partnering with Kingfisher, India’s No.1 brewery for this exciting new summer venture, who will be providing the perfect accompaniment to delicious Eastern cooking. Pop up India will also be the new temporary home for Kingfisher’s Tuk-Tuk rickshaw photo booth, a fantastic and entertaining addition to the venue’s décor.

The Nomad Cinema will remain at Proud East for the rest of the summer months, showcasing the fruits of India’s prolific film industry. Grab a seat under the stars and let the colours, music and costumes of Asia take you far away from East London with an array of acclaimed film titles every week.

Join Proud East for our very own ‘Indian Summer’ with warm days, long evenings and an unmissable dining experience bringing the flavours of India to the banks of Regent’s Canal.
